Michael Snediker is Assistant Professor of English at Queen’s University. A specialist in poetry and poetics, he works on nineteenth- and twentieth-century American literature. He is the author of the recently published Queer Optimism: Lyric Personhood and Other Felicitous Persuasions ( University of Minnesota Press , 2008)
